Wusong Road Tiki Bar

Check out Wusong Road for both a restaurant and an experience. Owner Jason Doo created the restaurant to honor his Chinese-American upbringing in Malden, Massachusetts. The multi-level eatery in Harvard Square features Chinese-American bites and a tikki bar upstairs. 

Guests can sample tropical drinks like the Singapore Sling and Junglebird in tikki mugs. The interior has decor like handmade basket lamps and a replica of a Balinese temple. 

Brick and Mortar

If you're in the mood for a speakeasy, visit Brick and Mortar. This Central Square cocktail bar has won awards from Time Out and Boston Magazine as one of Boston's best bars. Guests can sample cocktails referencing pre-prohibition and Golden Age eras, like the Hemingway Daiquiri. Brick and Mortar also offers craft cocktail classes for corporate and private groups.

Backbar

Backbar is a cocktail bar tucked away in a Somerville alley.  Comic characters and superheroes inspire the drinks. For example, the Ancestral Plane from Black Panther is a smoky and spicy margarita. You don't need a reservation for Backbar since it's walk-in only. 

To satisfy your sweet tooth after drinks, enjoy a slice of cheesecake. Cambridge is home to famous bakeries and pastry shops dating back to the 1920s.
