On any day of the week, you'll find dozens of food trucks parked across town. They serve everything from gourmet hot dogs to delectable desserts. A fun and easy dinner out of the ordinary, food trucks are still as popular as ever.

The winner of a "Best of Boston" award, Pennypacker's was one of the first food trucks in Boston. The chefs prepare a seasonal menu. They are known for their salads, specialty soups, and ever-popular porchetta sandwiches. These sandwiches feature heavily seasoned, skin-on pork served on ciabatta bread. Enjoy with a side of mac & cheese or crushed fried potatoes.
Friends Sam and JJ boast that they have been bacon lovers since birth. After graduating from college, they decided to open a food truck focused on their favorite food and created The Bacon Truck. Today, the guys proudly serve Blackstone St. Smokehouse's applewood smoked bacon that's prepared and smoked in South Boston. You can add extra bacon to any sandwich, and choices include The Hangover and The Pork & Mindy. Be sure to enjoy with the bacon scallion hash.
At Zinneken's, the chefs make some of the best waffles outside of Belgium. They handcraft their signature Liege dough, and when it bakes in the waffle iron, the pearl sugar crystallizes. This results in sweet, indulgent waffles you don't want to miss. Choices include Strawberry Glamour, The Gourmand, and The Sin. Add an Americano or a caramel macchiato when you place your order.
