Cambridge Center for Adult Education

The Cambridge Center for Adult Education was founded in 1870 to provide social and intellectual improvement to the community. With two historic buildings in Harvard Square, it's one of the oldest community education centers in America. They offer dozens of classes in the arts, music, world language, history, and much more. Arlington Community Education

Arlington Community Education is a program of public schools in Arlington, Massachusetts. Classes are offered to both town residents and non-residents at the same tuition rates. They offer a number of unique online classes, such as country-western line dancing, literary translation, and fermentation. You can also find more traditional classes such as journaling, second language courses, and photography.


Cambridge Community Learning Center

The city of Cambridge offers classes through the Community Learning Center. Classes include English as a second language, basic reading and math, citizenship and computer skills. Additionally, they offer the Bridge to College Program to help future college students succeed. It helps improve writing, reading comprehension, and math skills and assists with applying for college, financial aid, and scholarships. Select courses even count as a credit at Bunker Hill Community College.


Cambridge Community Television

Cambridge Community Television creates programming for cable channels, 8, 9, and 96 that feature Cambridge residents, arts and cultural organizations, and city agencies. The organization also offers classes to teach residents about filmmaking, screenwriting, using technology, and more. Recent online offerings include Sketch Comedy Writing Crash Course, Building Your Audience & Distributing Your Podcast, and Using Social Media for Activism.
