Here is some of what the aquarium has to offer near our Cambridge apartments:

Simons Theatre

Step into the state-of-the-art Simons Theatre to enjoy films that bring the marine world to life. The theater boasts comfortable high-back seats, wrap-around digital sound, and a projection screen that stands over six feet tall. The 22-minute movies are as fun as they are educational. They play daily, with the last one starting 40 minutes before the aquarium closes.

Atlantic Harbor Seals Exhibit

Located outside on the Front Plaza, the Atlantic Harbor Seals exhibit is a visitor favorite. Harbor seals are commonly found on the East and West coasts, where they rest on rocks and beaches. These seals make both shallow and deep dives and can sleep underwater, coming up for air every 30 minutes.

Penguin Exhibit

See over 60 charming penguins that call a bustling colony home. The African penguins are known for their donkey-like brays, while the rockhopper species is easily recognized by its punk rock hairdo. You'll watch as they swim and play and learn how the aquarium breeds the African penguins as part of a species survival plan.

Amazon Rainforest

Explore the Amazon rainforest without venturing far from home. As one of the world's most diverse habitats, the Amazon rainforest is home to numerous plant and animal species. Several of which have yet to be discovered. The exhibit features anacondas, eclectic eels, and poison dart frogs.
